SIMPSON L70Z 7″ REINFORCING ANGLE – ZMAX FINISH

• Simpson strong-tie L angles feature a staggered nail pattern to reduce the possibility of splitting the lumber. The strong-tie L70 Z reinforcing angle features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specification of ASTM A153.
• Use all specified fasteners.
• Use hot-dip galvanized nail with ZMAX and HDG connector products. Use type 316 stainless steele nail with our stainless-steel connector products.
• Nail the L angle’s wider leg into the joist to ensure table loads and allow correct nailing.
